Apple’s event last week exposed many of the surprises expected from rumour mills. The major launches were the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, and the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. There will be no Mini in the line-up, but the other four models are available for pre-order which started on September 9.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus features:

Apple’s iPhone 14 and 14 Plus both feature 6.1″ and 6.7″ screens, respectively. Besides the updated internal design, both models have an OLED display with Super Retina XDR technology, which supports 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and Dolby Vision. Additional protection is provided by the Ceramic Shield on the displays.

In terms of processing power, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are powered by the same A15 Bionic chip as last year. It features a 5-core GPU, a 6-core GPU, a 16-core neural engine, as well as a new photonic engine. Additionally, both devices now have iOS 16, Crash Detection, and Emergency SOS via satellite.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Price in UAE:

iPhone 14 will cost AED 3,399 for a 128GB model, AED 3,799 for 256GB, or AED 4649 for 512GB.

iPhone 14 Plus with 128GB will cost AED 3,799, 4,199 with 256GB, and 5,049 with 512GB.

On Friday 9th September at 4PM, pre-orders kicked off, and iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus units will be available a week later on Friday 16th September and October 7th, respectively. For both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, there are five colours to choose from: Purple, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Product Red.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max features:

The bodies of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max don’t differ much from each other, aside from the smaller notch (now called the Dynamic Island).

 There are four stunning colours available on the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, each with a display size of 6.1″ and 6.7″ respectively, surrounded by surgical-grade stainless steel and a textured matte glass design. With a peak brightness of 2000 nits, the iPhone 14 Pro duo features Super Retina XDR 120Hz displays.

Taking the Pro models to the next level, the cameras are truly ‘Pro’. There is a quad-pixel sensor on the main sensor, bumping the resolution to 48MP. Additionally, the camera comes with a 12MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Lastly, there is an update to the flash hardware. In addition, you get an upgraded 12MP camera on the front.

The Pro Models include software updates like Action mode and better computational photography. Hardware upgrades are only available on Pro models when it comes to processing power. Both models are equipped with the A16 Bionic chipset. This performance boost comes from a newly-developed 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Price in UAE:

There will be four storage options available with the iPhone 14 Pro, one with 128GB, one with 256GB, one with 512GB and one with 1TB. AED 4,299 with 128GB storage, AED 4,699 with 256GB storage and AED 5,549 for 512GB storage.

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max is available for AED 4,699 with 128GB, AED 5,099 with 256GB, AED 5,949 for 512GB, and AED 6,799 for 1TB.

Both these Pro models will be available at stores on Friday 16th September.
